About this cafe
A steady hum of conversation that is easy to work through. There are no sockets, so arrive charged. They take the coffee seriously, and the flat white is the order. Worth it for an hour or two if you are nearby.

Pricey for Cape Town. Room to spread out with a laptop and notes.

The staff were friendly from start to finish and never once made me feel like I'd overstayed. Open till 8pm, so I stayed on after work. Huge room. There isn't a socket anywhere, so my laptop was on its last legs by mid-afternoon. Keep the WiFi password handy.

My laptop died by three. No sockets. R45.59 for a flat white adds up fast if you're there for a full day. There isn't a kitchen, so once the rusks ran out I had to pack up and find lunch elsewhere.

Always a free table. Coffee is the real reason to come. Can't recommend it enough.

Popped in for a couple of hours on a Tuesday evening, plus the flat white is excellent. Got a seat at the communal tables straight away, but WiFi times out after two hours.

Came in on a Thursday to get through a book I had to finish. Best flat white I've had in Cape Town for a while. Staff were happy to let me stay for hours and even topped up my water without being asked, and open till 8pm, handy for an evening session.

Visiting from Bengaluru and needed somewhere to work. No plugs at all, so come charged. The flat white here is outstanding.

A big room, but pricey.
