Fitzgerald Coffee House

Can't fault it. Easy on a student budget. Plugs under the bench seats, easy to reach. Reliable WiFi, one blip in a few hours.

The music is turned up high enough that headphones stop being optional by midday, and there's no customer toilet, which is fine for a quick visit but cuts a long session short. There are only a few tables, so I got lucky and grabbed the last free one just before it filled up. Bench seats are where the sockets are.

Good place to get things done. The cappuccino was properly made, which I don't take for granted in places built for laptops, and prices here are low for Amsterdam, so a full day of coffee doesn't turn into a small fortune. There's a good buzz in the room and it somehow makes the work go faster, but it's a small room with only a handful of tables, so it's worth getting there early.

Love this place. Solid cappuccino. The bench seating has sockets tucked underneath, so I plugged in as soon as I sat down.

A reliable spot. Good music, good crowd. Small room, so don't bring a group. I'll be back.
